Hello, My name is Dana Hebert, In the year 2023 a few months after being married here in Rutherford county Murfreesboro TN. I was diagnosed with Rare Ovarian Cancer 4th stage a week to live unknowingly. No symptoms, discomfort or pain. One night I told my husband at the time that I was feeling a little discomfort in my lower extremities. He had taken me to a hospital named: Ascension St Thomas Midtown ER where I was admitted 6 days without a CT scan, MRI or X-ray. I think there was blood drawn. The next day a colonoscopy/biopsy was performed . I came out into the recovery room and the two nurses were there watching me exclusively. Immediately the anesthesiologist told them to inform my oncologist that I aspirated twice and will need an intravenous antibiotic. Prior before this I had a port in my upper right chest area surgically implanted for chemotherapy treatments. A 2nd biopsy was performed where I had 6 steel syringes injected into my naval in which The Rare Ovarian Cancer was present. After that the chemotherapy treatments began and soon after that I had a full blown hysterectomy. I am currently on LYNPARZA ( chemotherapy) in pill form. I’m doing well now. I still have port flushed and blood lab work performed. I’m alive and I am sooo very grateful and thankful. Dana Hebert
